I am the second trombonist with the Cedar Rapids Symphony in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. I have also performed with the national tour of Hairspray and many Chicago area organizations. I earned my master's degree from Northwestern University with Michael Mulcahy (Chicago Symphony) and my bachelor's from the Chicago College of Performing Arts with Jay Friedman (principal, Chicago Symphony).
In 2004, Kagarice Brass Editions published a book of intonation exercies I wrote. While it hasn't quite reached the top of the New York Times bestseller list, I am happy with how it's doing and the comments I'm getting about it. Information about this resource and more of my sheet music can be found at TenorPosaune.com.
In addition to my musical pusuits, I am a web developer. I do front-end coding in XHTML and CSS, and back-end coding in PHP. All my pages validate to the WWW Consortium's specifications. Some of this work can be seen at TenorPosaune.net. I am a graduate of the Chautauqua Literary and Scientific Circle, the oldest book club in America. Open Books, Open Minds, Open Hearts!
